Sniffles, Sneezes, Tummy Aches - January 24, 2018
This course is designed to help participants identify signs and symptoms of communicable illnesses in the child care setting, exclusion requirements and steps to prevent illnesses from occurring or spreading in the child care environment. Participants will engage in group discussions, identify ways germs are spread and will also review case scenarios to distinguish when exclusion is required. After completing this course participants will understand how to conduct daily health checks within their program and distinguish general guidelines for exclusion in the child care setting. Instructor will assess knowledge gained during group reporting, scenarios and through a true/false exercise. Feedback will be provided throughout the session and during the evaluation process.
